NOTARIAL PRACTICE
A Notary Public is an Officer constituted by Law to serve the Public in non-contentious matters usually concerned with Estates, Deeds, Powers of Attorney and foreign and international businesses.
A Notary’s main functions are to administer oaths and affirmations, take Affidavits and Statutory Declarations, witness and/or authenticate the execution of certain classes of documents, take acknowledgements of Deeds and other Conveyancers, provide notice of foreign drafts, provide exemplifications and notarial copies, and perform certain other official acts depending on his/her jurisdiction and expertise.
Notaries deal with various aspects of the Law, including:
- Notarial agreements;
- Notarial servitude registration;
- Drafting and registration of Ante-nuptial agreements
Both our Conveyancers, JO-HANNA (ONA) NELL and HANNELIE HATTINGH are also admitted and practicing NOTARIES and can assist you with the above.
